THE BEST of the PERIGORD
Rock Shelters of Laugerie-Basse
The site is very interesting and has been a “gold mine” for archaeologists and, consequently, for museums all over the world. The guide was great: passionate and, therefore, inspiring. Thank you again.
Château de Biron
This chateau is one of the veritable jewels of the Dordogne. From the impregnable view over everything that surrounds it, we can really understand its history, while the architecture makes it clear how many different eras it has lived through.
Château de Bourdeilles
BGreat chateau, beautifully furnished. The audio guide is very instructive. A magnificent place with a warm welcome.
A very interesting visit. The cloisters were rebuilt in the 15th century and are a Gothic masterpiece. A pretty, very well-maintained garden.
Grand Roc Cave
You’ll discover in this cave the marvels of nature in an enchantment of crystal structures: columns, draperies, calcite stalactites and eccentrics. You’ll wander through a cleverly lit-up mineral forest. Make this visit a priority!
In the footsteps of our ancestors and their culture. A visit to Lascaux II is a magical journey through the sacred shamanism of prehistoric man.
